George Mastrokostas - Longtime New York City Entrepreneur
With an entrepreneurial mindset, George Mastrokostas led the Brooklyn company Metro Vending and operated a route that spanned the New York City metropolitan area. He managed inventory and ordered products, while maintaining vending machines and ensuring that routes were efficiently scheduled. George Mastrokostas’ responsibilities extended to business logistics, ensuring seamless customer relations.
George Mastrokostas attended St. John’s University before focusing on broadcasting and media training at the Connecticut School of Broadcasting. He spent five years with Adelphia Cable in Toms River, New Jersey, as a management trainee. This provided him with experience in video editing and camera operation, as he provided local cable shows with media production services. His engagements extended to production support at a local news station.
George Mastrokostas is active in his community and excels in Halloween decorating. He has set up “The Monroe Haunting” as a Facebook group and leads a neighborhood haunted walkthrough event each year. With a passion for classic muscle cars, his preferred ride is a 1978 Trans Am.
